The 9-10-11 May to Bassano del Grappa, there was the eighty-first national gathering of the Alpini, I do not know if you all know what it is, but know that this is an incredible event in which dozens and tens of thousands of Alpine (this year was 350 thousand!) find themselves in a city and, proudly wearing their green hat with a black pen, are having a party for 3-4 days, remembering the fallen and the importance of the mountain with a beautiful final parade, preceded by a riot in the days leading choirs, brass bands, sausage and pork sausage sandwiches, all seasoned with thousands of gallons of wine! It 's a wonderful party, where everyone can participate and celebrate together with the Alpine mountain! (Alpine, however, can only wear a cap with a pen, who is not out of respect should not do it!)
personally was the second such gathering involving sympathetic (the first was a few years ago in Genoa) and again I came home with a beautiful memory.
Why tell you all this? Because at these rallies the atmosphere is beautiful, the mountain, ordinary people get together for the sake of being there, have fun, for the pleasure of being together, in peace and happiness! Although the city is invaded by thousands and thousands of people, the organization of the mountain is perfect, nothing is left to chance, there is no problem, you should just have fun, all people seem to be more good!
Everything is explained by the fact that people from north to south, from east to west, like the mountain, I respect them all more or less know the sacrifices they have made the mountain during the war and the sacrifices they continue to do in peacekeeping and in related emergencies such as natural disasters.
In these gatherings, there are both alpine and alpine ultra eighty young, all united by the same spirit, as if this spirit is maintained intact for years, considering that practically all of the alpine lever finished his military service he enrolled to the local of the mountain, because an Alpine Alpine forever!
not want to be hypocritical and think that all of these Alpine 350 000 Bassano were good people, among them was certainly there will be a few bad apples, but certainly what they represent is something healthy, positive, what they represent is friendship, hospitality, sacrifice for others, solidarity and brotherhood! As I walked among thousands of strangers I felt calm and peaceful, like home, unsure about where I was walking, I do not believe that anything bad could happen! This compared to worrying everyday that we are experiencing in recent years, the real thing is incredible! Although I felt better, more tolerant, more willing to others! Unfortunately, the reality today is very different, but trying again some feelings made me happy and even hopeful that things can improve, that problems such as drugs, organized crime, illegal immigration, juvenile crime can be stopped, exceeded! Thanks for the wonderful mountain that I spent hours and hope you have rekindled in me!
I wanted to make some further considerations. First I would like to point out that despite the thousands and thousands of people and rivers of wine completed the gathering of the last day they cleaned up the city's mountain had never before been seen as a sign of great civilization! Also point out that despite some Alpine has lifted a little 'too much to drink "(as, inter alia, it is logical on these occasions) assolutissimamente there was no mess and even the happiness of those persons was fascinating and very funny .
