LibreOffice - part 2

not sure this is the blog of reference of FLOSS, but the birth of LibreOffice is having great emphasis on the net!

Never before has the term FLOSS (L = Libre) is more appropriate for free software.

I invite you to read the article and Tuxjournal blog Italo Vignoli president of PLIO, Italian Linguistic Project OpenOffice.org.

Good reading.

Difference Between Full Head And Half Head Color

LibreOffice

Hello, hello OpenOffice, software and glorious only real alternative to MSOffice, and well LibreOffice arrived!

While Oracle buys Sun Microsystem's OpenOffice developers historians decided to create the Foundation The Document and develop new LibreOffice from the ashes of the most glorious precursor. No worries

for users who might (if Oracle will give us the chance) will have greater choice.

no concern that Oracle still seems determined to develop and deploy its OpenOffice.

Some concern more for the historical development of OpenOffice not trusting that I'm sure Oracle will continue their excellent work LibreOffice evolving.

LibreOffice Meanwhile, already supported by Red Hat, Canonical, Novell, Google, FSF, OSI, Gnome Foundation, Ubuntu should appear already in 11.04.
IBM expects to see what happens.

To each his own choice!
